Raised in Atlanta Georgia (U.S.A.), Ben Pipitone is an artist, fabricator, and industrial designer. While earning a degree in industrial design from Appalachian State University, Pipitone was introduced to a philosophy established by Mies van der Rohe, formed from the notions of Bauhaus, that taught him to combine the fields of art, craft and design. These theories, merged with contemporary culture, make up his inter-disciplinary practice today.
